Justin and I went up to the bay this weekend so I could pack up the stuff I wanted and throw away/take to charity the rest.
I ended up recycling probably the whole recycling bin full of stuff and tons of stuff to leave behind-- I finally met the family that rented our home and they will take care of anything we don't want-- take it to church so they distributed to homeless/needy people. The family is so sweet :) Their two daughters are really cute and didn't fight over the rooms at all. The older sister got my dark blue room, and the younger sister got my brother's red room.
On Saturday night it was still pouring so I decided that we will come back Monday instead of Sunday. (had to call in to take the day off)
We rented a 14' UHAUL and started stuffing it. Of course my dad kept on reminding me that even though we have this trip we still have to get rid of alot of stuff.. and that we have way more stuff than what we had in Canada, when we came with a 26 footer (My dad is going to drive the 26 footer next week with the rest of the stuff) and while I was going through my stuff and reminising, Justin too was reminding me that I always tell him to pack light so I should too. lol.
anyway. yesterday we set journey at 1:30 pm, Justin drove the UHAUL, I drove the rental SUV with the dogs in the back, and Charlie drove our family BUICK. Because next week when my dad drives the bigger UHAUL, my mom has to drive our station wagon. and she would have her Camry in the bay to drive until she moves to tw.
We didn't get home until 11pm. and of course, last night was the first night the dogs slept at the house (they were in the Laundry room) so I heard Mochi cry when my alarm went off (couldn't even sleep in alittle bit coz had to take care of the dogs)
today: clean up. move. eat. sleep
