money

so last night for fellowship, we talked about Money
(Eccl 5: 8-20)

the final conclusions are:
- these things (luxuries) are not bad but they will not satisfy.
when a multi-millionaire was asked which million made you the most happy?
he responded: the next one.
we say things like, if only we can get the next promotion, or this house, or this paycheck, we will be ...... But, who is there to remind us that we said these things when we do get it? Because so often, we say we will be happy when we get this or that, but when we get it, we tend to (not intentionally either) forget that we said we will be happy.

- we cannot take all the wealth we have/will obtain in life with us when we pass away

- the more you love money, the more painful it is when you lose it
and yet it's soooo easy to lose money in life...

Seek first in the Kingdom of God, and all these things should be added to you.

And i love the part where it says, "For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father KNOWS that you NEED them." - Matt 6:32
